Your wallet signs a timestamp to log in and LEVR asks Derive testnet whether an account exists. Nothing is authorised or moved. Your first deposit (step 3) creates the account.

Mint Derive's test tokens, then deposit: test USDC is the margin 0DTE trades on; test ETH is what a vault deposit needs. The first deposit creates your account about a minute after it confirms. Your wallet approves exactly this amount and deposits it — one prompt with a smart-account wallet, two otherwise.

Trading key
One signature registers a key generated in this browser, scopes trade:orderbook:option, vault:user_deposit, vault:user_withdraw, vault:user_cancel, valid 7 days. It can place options orders, request vault deposits and withdrawals and read your account; it cannot withdraw or transfer. It is stored encrypted in this browser only. Renew replaces it; Revoke on venue expires it at Derive.
